If you were ever thinking about channeling your inner Emily in Paris here in Bham, listen up. This Parisian-inspired wine bar has officially opened their doors and is welcoming you and your crew to wine and dine. Coming from the team that brought you The Essential and Bandit, Kristen Hall and Victor King, Bar La Fête is a great, upscale addition to the city. Fun fact: each of their bathrooms are designed differently, so pop into each one to discover more of Bar La Fête.
“La fête” can be translated to “a party” in French, so it’s time to get *this* party started with this huge selection of wines and small plates.
If you’re looking to dig into the world of clean beauty products, Verde Lusso just soft launched their very first storefront here in Birmingham at MAKEbham. Fun fact: verde lusso means “green luxury” in Italian.
They sell skincare products, makeup, body and bath products, wellness essentials and more.
There’s a new taco spot in the game—Chino’s Taco Stop. Serving up menu specialties like birria tacos, tortas and burritos, this specialty shop has already gotten rave reviews. If you’re not in the mood for Mexican, try their other menu items like the lobster quesadilla or the Chino Burger.

If seafood is more up your alley, head to The Crab Barrack in Five Points West. Although this spot specializes in to-go orders, it still serves up the same delicious fare.
Earlier this year, The Crab Barrack in Five Points South opened in the former Brennan’s Pub space. With the added locations, they are expanding all across the Birmingham area.

The Barn at Henley is Columbiana’s newest event venue. It features a 2,400 square foot barn venue, a bar and indoor/outdoor space to host a variety of events. full, 2,400 square foot, finished barn venue, complete with a bar that can serve both indoor and outdoor events.
According to The Shelby County Reporter, there are details of The Barn at Henley that are worth a mention, like 150-year-old doors the owners brought back from Egypt, dressing rooms and family quarters for wedding ceremonies and beautiful landscaping perfect for anyone’s big day.
